The Tecton Order primary military branch consists of the Knight Brotherhoods, arguably the most elite combat teams ever assembled. The Brotherhoods are highly secretive, self-reliant and independent military organizations, that are loyal to the cause of the Tecton Order. Although very little is known of the inner workings of the Brotherhoods, each Brotherhood is believed to be led by a Grandmaster supported by an inner circle of Elders.
Knights utilize an upgraded version of the ZEUS Battlesuit, a technology developed by the UEF in the early ‘40s which never saw use due to its high cost and vulnerability to anti-tank weapons. Their main armament is the Reaper Gun, a rifled weapon that fires projectiles composed of hundreds of particles stuck together by magnetic force. When firing the projectile can act as a single heavy caliber round or discharge the magnetic force and allow the projectile to spread in hundreds of shrapnel while maintaining the velocity of the initial round.
Knight Brotherhoods have a very keen appreciation for the human spirit and their resolve seems to be tied, at least in part, to a deep religious conviction. Although they can be expected to act honorably in the field of battle, that doesn’t make them any less dangerous or effective. In fact, because their enemies know that Knights will honor the surrender of their enemies, many combatants choose to surrender sooner than later when they realize they are up against the heavily armed and elite Knights.
